Bournemouth were excellent in the first months of the season but have really fallen off lately.

They will now have a great chance to go through to the next round against a Brighton side who are not very good on the road.

Bournemouth made a great start in the season when they went undefeated in their first four matches.

Bournemouth have won just two of their last 11 matches in all competitions, losing the other nine in the process (2-9-0).

In their last match they met a bad 1-4 loss on the road against Manchester United which came after a massive 0-5 loss against Tottenham.

But they have won just two of their last five and now have a 8-3-2 record in all competitions, with all three losses coming in their last five at home.

On the other hand, Brighton have been really struggling with consistency this season but they have been plagued by injuries.

However, they broke out of their slump in their last match when they beat Everton by a slim 0-1 at home

They have now grabbed four points from their last two matches but prior to that they had three consecutive losses.

Even so, they have only conceded three goals once so far on the road, and conceded twice on five occasions.
