Derby 'confirm' training ground 'spy' is Leeds United member of staff

Spied on | Derby have opened talks with Leeds after a 'suspicious male' was linked to the League leaders

Derby County have claimed that the ‘spy’ moved on from their training ground ahead of their clash with Leeds United was an employee of the Championship leaders.

Police say they attended County's coaching ground on Th once a person was seen at the perimeter fence of the Moor Farm advanced.

Derby have currently began discussions with metropolis United over the incident, and discharged an announcement on weekday that read: 

“Derby County soccer Club will make sure that officers from the chapeaushire personnel were known as to the Derby County coaching Centre at around 11:20am on Th tenth January 2019 following reports of a person acting

suspiciously outside the premises.
“It has since been confirmed to chapeau County that the individual involved is associate degree worker of the

footballing employees at metropolis United soccer Club.
“The club is currently in discussion with metropolis United

club officers in regard to this incident.
“At this point no additional comment are going to be created.”

On Th, Derbyshire Police tweeted to mention that they had set and removed the person amid suspicion he was making an attempt to spy on Frank Lampard's squad.

The tweet from the chapeau Response Unit of Derbyshire personnel read: "Officers have simply attended the coaching Ground for @dcfcofficial once a suspicious male was seen at the perimeter fence.

"Excellent looking out conducted and male was set. All checks higher than board!
